I’m hearing a lot of talk about how there is little chance the Federal Reserve will meet tomorrow’s FOMC meeting’s hawkish expectations. Although I am the first to say that Wall Street has talked themselves into an overly aggressive Fed policy path, we need to ask ourselves whether tomorrow will be the point when Powell eases on the brake.
